Xtreme Manufacturing is pleased to announce that it is up-rating its new XR6538 rough-terrain telehandler to the XR7038.
Introduced at ConExpo 2014 as the Xtreme XR6538, the machine has since undergone full testing and has been up-rated to a lifting capacity of 70,000 lbs. This is a 5,000 lbs increase in lift capacity, from the initial launch specifications of 65,000 lbs, and further cements its position as the largest capacity rough-terrain telehandler manufactured in North America.
The XR7038 has been designed by Xtreme’s in-house engineering team for mining, bridge construction and pipe handling applications, plus any jobsite where there is a need to lift and move heavy loads. Weighing in at 115,000 lbs unloaded with 38 ft of lifting height, and featuring 6.5 ft tall foam-filled tires and a 24 ft turning radius, the XR7038 is a real alternative to small crane applications, especially as it can transport as well as lift the load. It is powered by a Cummins 300hp Tier 4 Final engine, and has a large 150 gallon fuel capacity; designed to reduce the frequency that the machine will need to be refueled.
Like all Xtreme telehandlers, the high specification XR7038 benefits from a heavy duty steel construction and quality Xtreme-approved components to provide a long working life, which is backed by our industry-leading 10yr – 5yr – 2yr warranty. It features a fork positioning carriage as standard with forks weighing over a ton a piece. The machine also comes equipped with our unique boom lift point, driver suspension seat, rear view camera, electronic engine monitor, and long-life boom rollers for smooth operation.
The XR7038 is available in three configurations – open cab, closed cab with heat, and closed cab with heat & AC, with the ability to further customize the machine by selecting from a comprehensive list of options.
Now available to order, the XR7038 is an affordable and more convenient solution for a wide range of applications. The Xtreme XR7038 is the ‘swiss army knife’ of the jobsite.
